We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team at Newtech Truck Repair. As a Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and repairing metal parts and products using various welding techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret welding process specifications and operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment.
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes.
  • Examine welds and ensure they meet standards and/or specifications.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment and hoisting and lifting equipment.
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment.
Work Environment:

As a Welder at Newtech Truck Repair, you will work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, and physically demanding conditions.

Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work efficiently and effectively in a team environment.
Language:

English is the primary language of communication in this role.

Work Schedule:

40 hours per week, with overtime required as needed.
