At Visual Arts Nova Scotia, we are seeking an exceptional leader to fill the role of Executive Director and Publisher of our magazine, Visual Arts News.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in visual arts, preferably with experience in the not-for-profit sector. Substantial management and administrative experience is essential, along with a post-secondary degree or diploma and equivalent training.
Responsibilities include overseeing all aspects of the organization's operations and finance, including development, communications, partnerships, and planning/programming of year-round activities. Grant writing and reporting, program development and implementation are also key duties.
About the Role
This is a full-time position that requires a strategic thinker who can lead the team to achieve organizational goals. If you have a passion for visual arts and are looking for a challenging opportunity, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
