Job Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Chief Development Officer to lead our fundraising efforts. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in major gift fundraising, special events, and donor relations. In this role, you will work closely with our Executive Director to achieve our fundraising goals and contribute to the growth and success of Springboard to Learning.

Responsibilities
1. Develop and execute an annual Development and Stewardship Plan in collaboration with the Executive Director.
2. Lead fundraising efforts through individual gifts, a monthly giving club, direct mail, sponsorship, and special events.
3. Provide special event oversight and ensure successful execution.
4. Develop an annual fundraising budget in partnership with the Executive Director.
5. Build and maintain strong donor relationships, understanding their motivations and expectations.
6. Serve as an ex-officio member of the Resource Development/Marketing Committee.
7. Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the Executive Director.

Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
2. Significant experience in major gift fundraising and special events preferred.
3. Development and/or sales experience preferred.
4. Passion for arts-integrated educational programming preferred.
5. Proven ability to build strong relationships with donors and volunteers.
6. Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and donor software.
7. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
8. Results-oriented mindset.
9. Strong critical thinking skills.
10. Dedication to donor stewardship.
11. Leadership skills that reflect and value a team approach, demonstrating effectiveness, efficiency, integrity, and ability to deliver high-quality service.
12. Proven ability to multi-task.
13. Demonstrated accuracy and thoroughness with attention to detail.
14. Ability to work with a diverse population.
