About the Position

Ryder is seeking a skilled and experienced Cross-Border Driver to join our team. As a Cross-Border Driver, you will be responsible for operating a single or tandem axle truck (tractor-trailer combination unit) for the purpose of picking up and/or delivering freight from customer, supplier and/or Company locations within the US and Canada.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a tractor-trailer combination unit for the purpose of picking up and/or delivering freight.
  • Complete documentation pertaining to driving and delivery duties, including log book, equipment inspection reports, and customer paperwork.
  • Oversee all functions of the vehicle, including condition of equipment and loading/unloading of freight.
Requirements
  • Valid Driver's License (AZ/Class 1) with air brake endorsement for license.
  • Minimum of 9 months experience in commercial driving required.
  • No more than one moving violation or accidents (anything other than parking) required.
