Job Title: Support Partner

At the University Health Network, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Support Partner to join our team. As a Support Partner, you will play a critical role in assisting direct patient caregivers and managing the Clinic's functionality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide assistance to direct patient caregivers through the performance of specific activities related to the maintenance of the Clinic, including cleaning, disinfecting and sterilizing instruments
  • Set up clinic areas
  • Transport X-rays, charts, etc.
  • Support patients with various activities
  • Contribute to environmental support activities
  • Assist with transportation support activities
  • Perform other duties directly related to the proper maintenance of the Clinic
Requirements:
  • Completion of a secondary school diploma program
  • Experience with housekeeping, portering and/or unit aide
  • Evidence of ability to lift heavy objects
  • Good interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player
  • Evidence of good independent initiative
  • Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
  • Good organization and time management skills
  • Previous Hospital experience
  • Experience in a teaching hospital environment preferred
