About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior HVAC Technician to join our team. As a Senior HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service and support to our customers in commercial, industrial, and institutional settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute contract maintenance visits, inspections, site assessments, and service requests for assigned customer accounts.
  • Maintain positive relationships with customers, vendors, and co-workers through effective communication skills.
  • Provide quote estimates for labor and material repairs and upgrades as needed.
  • Servicing products and equipment on assigned projects, ensuring customer satisfaction by identifying, analyzing, diagnosing, and repairing equipment and systems at the customer's location.
  • Utilize cutting-edge software and technology, along with various hand tools and rigging equipment, to diagnose and repair equipment.
  • Enforce safety standards to the highest level and maintain security and accountability of company-issued and procured assets.
  • Work as part of a dedicated team delivering the highest standard of service to customers, requiring flexibility to work overtime and weekends as necessary, including occasional overnight stays.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation due to our 24/7 service operation.

Requirements

  • HVAC Journeyperson status.
  • Must be a good-standing member of Local Union 516.
  • Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office software and working proficiency with handheld computers (e.g., Smartphone, iPad).
  • Adherence to the company safety program.
  • Valid driver's license, appropriate licenses to work with refrigerants, natural gas, and electrical.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to be on call nights and weekends on a rotating basis.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Gas B Certificate.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial, industrial, and/or institutional settings.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly base rate is $57.12, determined by UA Local 156 CBA/rate sheet. Benefits are provided through the union aligned with a collective bargaining agreement. Candidates with advanced experience or a Gas B ticket may be eligible for a dual ticket or Foreman rate based on their qualifications and expertise.
