Job Summary:

The Site Supervisor is responsible for the supervision and construction of single-family homes in Calgary and surrounding areas. This position will report directly to the Field Construction Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage the construction of single-family homes in Calgary and surrounding areas.
  • Provide schedules to subcontractors and manage their work on site.
  • Conduct customer walk-throughs throughout the building process.
  • Maintain a high standard of quality and accountability by conducting inspections throughout the construction process.
  • Manage job-specific schedules to ensure jobs comply with associated build times.
  • Assist in the resolution of design issues, change order requests, material defects, and on-site challenges.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  • Demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Monitor site costs for damages, theft, and trip charges.
  • Understand and implement OH&S safety requirements.

Requirements:

  • 3 or more years of experience in residential construction, including supervisory, management, or leadership roles.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Experience with online scheduling systems preferred.
  • Industry-related education is an asset.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • Criminal background check required.
  • CSTS, First Aid with CPR, and fall protection training would be an asset.
  • Excellent relationship management skills to support interactions with customers, trade partners, suppliers, and internal staff.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
  • Detailed-oriented.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Team-building skills.

Working Conditions:

This is a field position and will require travel between designated job sites. Work may require occasional weekends and/or evenings.
