About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Devon Sushi Ltd. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food preparation and service areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces to maintain a high level of hygiene and safety standards.
  • Operate dishwashers and washing machines to ensure all dishes, glassware, and utensils are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized.
  • Prepare and portion food items, including vegetables and fruits, for service.
  • Stock refrigerators, freezers, and storage areas with supplies and ingredients.
  • Assist with receiving and unpacking deliveries, and storing supplies in designated areas.
  • Remove and dispose of kitchen waste and trash, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
  • Reliability and punctuality are essential.
