Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Self-Checkout Attendant to join our team at Walmart Canada. As a Self-Checkout Attendant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean and organized self-service area, ensuring a safe and efficient shopping environment for customers.
  • Provide clear and concise instructions to customers on the use of self-service options, promoting a seamless shopping experience.
  • Upsell and promote company-sponsored programs, such as credit card services and charity initiatives, to customers.
  • Monitor customer activity and provide assistance when needed, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Respond to EAS alarms and complete the necessary documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with the Customer Service Manager to resolve technical issues and restock cash in the self-service area.
  • Return Scan & Go scanners to their designated home after use.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A strong customer service focus and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy when handling cash and operating a point of sale system.
