The Opportunity

We are seeking a junior environmental scientist to join our team of professionals in Kamloops, working on projects at both the field and office level, supporting all Trace offices.

Responsibilities

  • Work within the environmental site assessment remediation and risk management practice area, with opportunities for cross-training in reclamation and natural sciences.
  • Assist field leads and site supervisors with field work, ensuring the health and safety of our team members.
  • Support project managers with general office tasks, including developing work plans, cost estimates, and data analysis and review.

  • You possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and are able to work effectively with a team.
  • You have a strong educational background in a science program with an environmental focus, and are able to safely operate vehicles.

Compensation

  • The salary range for this position is $50,000 – $55,000 annually.
