We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at NA 786 Transportation Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and inspecting equipment to detect faults and malfunctions, diagnosing issues using computerized testing equipment, and performing repairs and maintenance work on heavy trucks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
  • Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment
  • Perform repairs and maintenance work on heavy trucks
  • Order parts and maintain inventory
  • Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts
  • Test repaired equipment for proper performance
  • Clean, lubricate, and perform other maintenance work
  • Verify and repair emission control systems
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Basic security clearance
  • Steel-toed safety boots and safety glasses/goggles
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
Working Conditions:
