Job Title: Home Health Care Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Care Worker to join our team at Unger Family. As a Home Health Care Worker, you will provide personalized care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging in activities such as conversation, reading, and watching movies.
  • Assist clients with mobility and transfer, using equipment such as walkers and wheelchairs as needed.
  • Monitor and report any changes in client condition, including medication side effects and any concerns.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work in a non-smoking environment.
  • Ability to work in a client's home, with optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis.
  • Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
Working Conditions:
  • Work in a client's home, with occasional travel to employer's/client's home.
  • Work in a non-smoking environment.
  • Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis.
Security and Safety:
  • Criminal record check required.

Experience:
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
