At Alpine 24/7 Corp., we are seeking a skilled Veterinary Care Assistant to join our team. As a Veterinary Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our furry patients. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities
  • Documenting animal behavior and maintaining accurate records
  • Preparing food and feeding animals, ensuring their nutritional needs are met
  • Cleaning and disinfecting cages, pens, aquariums, kennels, runs, stalls, and enclosures to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Assisting with inoculation and treatment of animals, under the supervision of our veterinarians
  • Maintaining and ordering supplies, ensuring we have everything needed to provide top-notch care
  • Providing flea bath treatments to animals, promoting their overall health and well-being
  • Coordinating the work of doctors, nurses, and other staff members to ensure seamless operations
  • Cleaning and sterilizing the operating room and instruments, adhering to strict hygiene standards
  • Cleaning the work area, maintaining a tidy and organized workspace
Requirements
  • Attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in all tasks
  • Physical stamina, as the role requires standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, and kneeling
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with colleagues and clients
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and a willingness to learn and grow with our team
