We are seeking a skilled Beekeeping Specialist to join our team at Poelman Apiaries Ltd. in Rural Area. As a key member of our apiary team, you will be responsible for maintaining the health and productivity of our bee colonies.

Job Description:

Beekeeping Specialists play a critical role in ensuring the success of our apiary operations. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining the bee yard and beekeeping equipment to ensure optimal colony health and productivity.
  • Performing general farm duties as needed, including working outdoors in various weather conditions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in beekeeping, with experience in harvesting honey and operating automated honey extractors.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
