Truck Driver

SRR TRANSPORT is seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials across the country.
Key Responsibilities:- Drive Safely: Operate a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Load and Unload: Load and unload goods at designated locations, ensuring accurate and efficient handling.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
- Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Certifications: Air Brakes Endorsement and Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
- Experience: Experience an asset, with a focus on safe and efficient driving practices.
As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be required to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. You will be away from home for extended periods, with regular breaks and rest periods.
