Job Title:

International Language Instructor - Supply


About the Role:

We are seeking a qualified International Language Instructor to join our team on a supply basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering language instruction in one of the following languages: Italian, Polish, Portuguese, Tagalog, Spanish, Mandarin and Ukrainian.


Key Responsibilities:

  • To deliver high-quality language instruction to students in Barrie.
  • To work under the direction of the Principal, Continuing and Community Education.
  • To maintain accurate records and reports as required.
  • To adhere to the Board's policies and procedures.

Requirements:

In order to be considered for this role, applicants must have:



  • A Grade 12 Diploma or equivalency.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Word and Excel.
  • Demonstrated experience in working with children in a learning environment.
  • Proven ability to work in both a co-operative and independent environment.
  • Demonstrated time management, scheduling and organizational skills.
  • Previous experience with Continuing Education is an asset.
  • First Aid Certification would be an asset.

Compensation:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 based on qualifications and experience.


Benefits:

This is a part-time supply position, with opportunities for additional hours based on student demand.
