Job SummaryThe Culinary Master will be responsible for planning menus, estimating food requirements, preparing and cooking meals, training staff, and managing kitchen operations.
We are looking for someone with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in Japanese cuisine. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of kitchen management, staff supervision, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and implement menus that meet the high standards of Sushi Nine
- Estimate food requirements and manage inventory to minimize waste and optimize costs
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to order
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure consistent quality and efficiency
- Manage kitchen operations, including budgeting, scheduling, and maintenance
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in Japanese cuisine
- Strong knowledge of kitchen management, staff supervision, and customer satisfaction
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Competitive salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year
