We are seeking a skilled Plumber Journeyman/Woman to join our team at Paul's Plumbing & Heating Ltd. as a key member of our plumbing services team.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining domestic, commercial, and industrial plumbing fixtures and systems. This is a permanent, full-time position that requires a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and repair plumbing fixtures and systems in domestic, commercial, and industrial settings.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste and drainage systems.
  • Prepare tenders and quotations for clients and manage projects from start to finish.
  • Instruct apprentices and provide guidance and support to ensure they meet the required standards.
  • Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors.
  • Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings.
  • Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, soldering, brazing, and welding equipment.
  • Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges.
  • Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing.
  • Supervise other workers and ensure projects are completed on time and to the required standard.
  • Estimate costs and materials for projects and manage budgets effectively.
  • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to the required shape and size.
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure client satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Plumber Trade Certification is required.
  • Criminal record check and driving record check are mandatory.
  • Valid driver's license is required.
  • Steel-toed safety boots and tools are provided by the employer.
