About the Role

We are currently seeking a reliable and efficient Restaurant Team Member to join our team at SUBWAY. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food to our customers in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook food according to SUBWAY's menu standards, ensuring all dishes meet quality and safety requirements.
  • Clean and sanitize equipment, utensils, and workstations, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen area.
  • Operate dishwashers, wash dishes by hand, and place them in storage areas efficiently.
  • Stock refrigerators, salad bars, and other storage areas with ingredients and supplies as needed.
  • Take customer orders, handle cash and credit transactions accurately, and provide excellent customer service.
  • Maintain a safe working environment by following health and safety protocols, reporting any hazards or incidents promptly.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the food service industry.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; secondary (high) school graduation certificate is an asset.
  • Ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs), stand for extended periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Compensation Package

The estimated salary for this role is $25,000 - $35,000 per year, based on location and experience. This is a competitive offer that reflects the value we place on our team members' contributions to our success.
