Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our team at Chandos. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for coordinating and administering project activities, ensuring seamless execution and timely completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Coordination: Assist in the coordination of project documentation, including meeting minutes, change orders, and progress claims.
  • Reporting and Administration: Set up and maintain project reporting procedures, including cost reports and project status reports.
  • Log Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date logs, track responses, and advise stakeholders.
  • Trade Contractor Management: Assist in the management of trade contractor site meetings, RFIs, invoices, and control document process.
  • Project Administration: Manage all project administration activities, including payroll, timekeeping, labor coding, equipment coding, purchase-order coding, and safety reporting.
  • Plan Review: Review construction plans for compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and ordinances.
Requirements
  • Education: Technical diploma in an appropriate construction-related field (CET), or equivalent construction experience.
  • Experience: 0-2 years of experience as a Project Coordinator in construction.
  • Skills: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Adobe or Bluebeam Revu.
  • Knowledge: Solid understanding of all construction trades, safety, and construction techniques, as well as knowledge of local, provincial, and federal workplace compliance regulations, ordinances, and legislation.
