As a Supply Educational Assistant, you will be part of this dynamic team, working closely with students, teachers, and other support staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

**Job Responsibilities:**
  • Work with students with special education needs across various age groups.
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers to establish a positive classroom environment.
  • Provide comprehensive student support services, including personal care, mobility, communication, and life skills.
**Requirements:**
  • Graduate of a College of Applied Arts & Technology in Educational Assistance and Adult Supports (preferred), Autism Behavioural Sciences, Child and Youth Worker, or possess equivalent post-secondary training.
  • Previous experience in an Educational Assistant role within diverse classroom settings.
  • Access to reliable transportation and willingness to work in multiple DSBN school locations.
  • Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and physically assist children, including lifting.
  • Preferred certification in Standard First Aid/CPR and Nonviolent Crisis Intervention or Behavioural Management Systems (BMS).
