About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team at RONA Inc. As a key member of our Finance department, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead revenue analyses for RONA's corporately owned stores and its Pro (B2B) business
  • Support the finance team and business partners in the follow-up of results, action plans, forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning
  • Act as a financial business partner to the Operations and Pro team leaders
  • Analyze and interpret financial results related to the Sales & Margin for the corporate stores
  • Participate in the forecasts and budget of the Pro & Retail business, as well as monitor variances between actual results and the budget on a periodic basis
  • Support business partners in the development of action plans and monitor results
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis to explain results and identify opportunities
  • Participate in the business case for new projects and make recommendations on them
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
  • At least 6 years of experience in a financial role
  • Experience in the retail industry is an asset
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality work
  • Ability to speak in front of a group and explain financial concepts to the public
  • Excellent analytical, synthesis skills, and show initiative and dynamism
  • Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and multi-stakeholder collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly growing environment
  • Excellent knowledge of IT tools, including Excel
