We are seeking a skilled Clinical Social Worker to join our Inpatient Psychiatry team at Fraser Health. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide psychosocial assessments and therapeutic clinical counseling services to clients in psychiatry.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct psychosocial assessments of clients through focused interviews and interpretation of data within the context of the client system.
- Provide supportive counseling services to clients, identifying areas of client/system strengths and challenges, and offering interventions which promote improved psychosocial/emotional wellbeing.
- Develop and implement plans of care, including goals of treatment, and make necessary referrals for further intervention.
- Educate and consult with clients and healthcare professionals on issues related to Social Work practice in the psychiatric setting.
- Maintain client records, documenting assessments, progress notes, and reports in accordance with established professional/organizational standards.
- Bachelor's Degree of Social Work from an accredited school of Social Work.
- One year's recent, related experience.
- Current full registration with the BC College of Social Workers.
- Valid BC Driver's license and access to personal vehicle for business related purposes.
