Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Delivery Driver/Helper to join our team at Sleep Country Canada. As a key member of our Operations team, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the timely and safe transportation of our products to customers' homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding customer service by delivering products in a professional, friendly, and enthusiastic manner
  • Work collaboratively with the team to alternate between driving and assisting duties
  • Safely operate our automatic 5-ton trucks and handle products with care
  • Complete required paperwork for each delivery and maintain accurate records
  • Contribute to the success of the Operations team by exceeding goals and expectations
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Physical ability to lift and move large items up to 88lbs (40kg)
  • Flexibility to work a rotating shift schedule, including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to think critically and resolve problems effectively
  • Experience operating a 5-ton vehicle or larger is an asset
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or delivery environment is also an asset
