About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Systems Administrator to join our team at m-Health Solutions Inc. as a key member of our IT department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Network Administration: Maintain, troubleshoot, and administer local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment.
  • Hardware and Software Evaluation: Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software to ensure optimal network performance.
  • User Support: Provide problem-solving services to network users, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
  • Security and Compliance: Implement data, software, and hardware security procedures to protect our network and sensitive information.
  • Backup and Recovery: Perform routine network start-up and close-down, maintain control records, and execute data backups and disaster recovery operations.
  • Network Optimization: Set up local area networks and connections to the Internet, implement network traffic and security monitoring software, and optimize server performance.
  • Web Development: Modify Web pages, applets, and scripts to ensure seamless user experience.
  • Search Engine Optimization: Research and apply meta-data to Websites and register Websites with search engines to improve online visibility.
  • Customer Support: Respond to requests for help and information from Website visitors and Website designers, ensuring prompt and professional assistance.
  • Server Management: Perform Web-server backup and recovery operations to ensure business continuity.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise technical staff, providing guidance and support to ensure team success.
Requirements
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficiency in Internet, MS Office, and Spreadsheet applications.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, with tight deadlines, and with attention to detail.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role, with a permanent position and 30 hours per week.
  • Language: Fluency in English as the primary language of communication.
