About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Ocean Rain International Daycare Center Inc. as a Child Development Specialist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Collaborate with our experienced educators to design and implement engaging child-care programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Assisting Educators: Support our team in carrying out programs that foster the growth and well-being of children, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
  • Leadership and Activities: Lead activities that stimulate children's curiosity, such as storytelling, singing, and educational outings to local points of interest.
  • Record Keeping: Assist in maintaining accurate records of children's progress and development, working closely with educators and supervisors.
  • Engagement and Observation: Engage children in various activities, observe their behavior, and prepare reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors to ensure their needs are met.
  • Environment Maintenance: Contribute to maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy environment that promotes children's overall well-being.
Requirements
  • Criminal Record Check: A valid criminal record check is required for this position.
  • Availability: Be available for shift or on-call work, as well as the advertised start date.
  • Work Eligibility: Be legally eligible to work in Canada.
