Professional Hairstylist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced hairstylist to join our team at First Choice Haircutters. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and delivering high-quality hairstyles to our clients.

This is a permanent position working 30 to 40 hours per week. The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Cut and style hair according to client preferences
• Provide a variety of hair treatments, including waving, straightening, and tinting
• Apply bleach, dyes, or rinses to colour, frost, or streak hair
• Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm, and style hair
• Suggest hairstyles compatible with client physical features and preferences

• 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
• Other trades certificate or diploma
• Excellent attention to detail and hand-eye coordination
• Able to stand for extended periods
• Strong client focus, dependability, and interpersonal skills

The estimated salary for this role is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. Additional benefits include bonus opportunities, gratuities, and a comprehensive compensation package.
