About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaner to join our team at Ottawa Dental Laboratory Inc. As a Light Duty Cleaner, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitizing: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
  • Housekeeping: Make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, and clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Facilities Maintenance: Pick up debris, empty trash containers, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Guest Services: Handle and report lost and found items, attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, and provide basic information on facilities.
Work Environment

As a Light Duty Cleaner at Ottawa Dental Laboratory Inc., you will work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will be required to bend, crouch, and kneel as part of your duties.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
  • Work Hours: 32.5 hours per week.
