Job Summary

We are seeking a Part-time casual hours Personal Support Worker/Caregiver for the Bovaird Dr East and Torbram intersection. As a member of our home care team, you will work under the supervision of the Care Coordinator and perform various personal care services to meet the client's needs.

Responsibilities
  • Provide AM and PM care, including assistance with daily living activities
  • Prepare meals and snacks for clients
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning and laundry
  • Accompany clients on outings and provide companionship
  • Assist with shopping and errands
  • Remind clients to take medication
  • Assist with ambulation and transportation of clients
  • Document client care and chart progress
Qualifications
  • Personal Support Worker Certificate or equivalent
  • Current CPR/First Aid training
  • Speaking Polish or Russian (preferable)
  • Current Police Record Check or Vulnerable Sector Screen
  • Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
  • Access to the internet and a mobile phone
