Key Responsibilities:

The Controller is a critical role for Keter North America. Reporting to the Finance Director, the Controller ensures proper Governance and Controls are maintained within the business unit. The individual works alongside the Finance Director to complete all reporting and analytical needs of the business unit. A dotted line relationship exists with the North American Controller to ensure shared service finance functions adequately support the unit's business needs and corporate responsibilities are met in a timely fashion.

Key Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the monthly/quarterly close process
  • Manage Cash controls, forecasting, and reporting
  • Manage CRA and other agency audits and inquiries
  • Manage all banking relationships and processes
  • Manage external audit inquiries (quarterly/annual) with support from the Financial Analyst
  • Manage the external Tax firm to ensure corporate compliance
  • Support the Finance Director in the annual Budget process and Quarterly review process
  • Prepare weekly cash reporting and forecasting
  • Manage Capital Expenditure controls, forecasting, and reporting (with Engineering support)
  • Maintain, analyze, and reconcile the General Ledger accounts (with NA Controller support)
  • Quarterly Transfer Price review, analysis, and reporting
  • Vendor and Customer data management as required
  • Support the central AR and AP teams as required
  • Support the HR and Payroll functions as required and determine monthly provisions
  • Work closely with department managers in analyzing plant activities and costs (e.g., production efficiencies, bill of materials maintenance, spend, etc.)

Requirements:

  • CPA designation and at least 3 years of manufacturing industry experience
  • In-depth SAP experience in a manufacturing setting
  • Proven ability to interpret data and provide meaningful analysis to senior leaders
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Action-Oriented

Education and Training:

  • Post-secondary education in a related field
