Construction Laborer and Helper

We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer and Helper to join our team at Manpower Enterprises Ltd. in a permanent position. As a Construction Laborer and Helper, you will be responsible for assisting in the construction process, including loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials, erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades, mixing, pouring, and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt, and removing rubble and other debris at construction sites. You will also tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction and handle weights up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
  • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction
  • Handle weights up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Experience an asset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • English language proficiency
  • 40 hours per week
