Electrical Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team at the Prince George Sawmill. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, and control panels.
- Diagnose and repair electrical issues in machinery, sensors, transmitters, and other equipment.
- Program, troubleshoot, and optimize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other control systems.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines when working with electrical systems.
- Identify and address electrical safety hazards within the mill environment.
Requirements:
- Red seal or Interprovincial TQ
- Strong background in PLCs setup and troubleshooting
- Solid background in heavy industry and construction
