At Rain Day Spa Inc., we are seeking a skilled Housekeeping Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our spa facilities. This includes tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors, dusting furniture, and cleaning fixtures and appliances. Additionally, you will be responsible for laundry and linen supplies, as well as responding to guest requests.

We are looking for someone with strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a team player attitude, be punctual, and dependable. Key responsibilities include:

  • Housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain the cleanliness and organization of our spa facilities
  • Laundry and linen supplies to ensure our facilities are well-stocked and clean
  • Responding to guest requests to provide excellent customer service
  • Working in a fast-paced environment to meet the needs of our guests and staff
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with guests and staff
  • Punctuality, dependability, and team player attitude to ensure a positive and productive work environment

Please note that the following requirements must be met:

  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent
  • Experience: Will train or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work in a non-smoking environment
  • Ability to work in a day spa setting
  • Ability to lift heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment
  • Ability to attend to repetitive tasks
  • Ability to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
  • Ability to work overtime
