Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Student, Crude Oil Marketing role. This is an exciting opportunity for a university student to gain hands-on experience in the oil and gas industry, working closely with our experienced team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with analytical support in various areas of the company, including finance and marketing.
- Work with the Crude Oil Traders to assist with deal entry and month-end reconciliations.
- Monitor production levels from our customers and communicate major changes to the appropriate stakeholders.
- Analyze pipeline flows on various pipelines and update databases as necessary to support fundamental analysis.
- Assist with submitting monthly pipeline nominations and conducting deal volume confirmations with external counterparties.
Requirements
- Enrolled in a university program, ideally with a focus in finance, mathematics, economics, business, or engineering.
- Exceptional Microsoft Excel skills, with an understanding of all facets of MS Suite.
- Comfortable communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Organized and able to coordinate across diverse business units.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, growth environment.
- Keen interest in understanding the key business drivers of different businesses within IPL.
