Security Officer

Paladin Security is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Guard to join our team at Bay Adelaide West in downtown Toronto. As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of staff and visitors in a high-rise office building.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct regular patrols of the building and surrounding areas to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
- Provide clear and concise communication to security staff and other stakeholders.
- Record all incidents and security-related events in a detailed and factual manner.
- Follow established communication guidelines and protocols to ensure prompt notification of incidents.
- Stay up-to-date with all Brookfield Standard Operating Procedures and Emergency Procedures.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with staff, visitors, and other stakeholders to ensure a positive and secure environment.
- Write detailed and factual incident reports to support security-related decisions.
- Utilize strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills to address security-related issues.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-tasked environment with a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
- Valid Security License for the province of Ontario.
- Valid First Aid & CPR - Level C certification.
- Covid-19 fully vaccinated.
- English (oral and written) fluency.
- Use of Force (UoF) and Management of Aggressive Behaviour (MOAB) certifications.
