Job Summary:

The Packer - Order Optimization Specialist is responsible for collecting, consolidating, and packaging orders for final shipment while ensuring maximum skid optimization. This role is a key part of our warehouse operations team at BRC Group - Tayco and BRC, where we strive to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, consolidate, and package orders for final shipment, ensuring maximum skid optimization.
  • Operate hand and power tools, such as drills, pneumatic guns, and wrapping machines, as well as pump trucks.
  • Document work, problem-solve in teams, learn new work processes, and participate in continuous learning and regular team meetings.
  • Utilize spatial awareness to preplan for volume and employ efficient packing techniques for complex orders.
  • Achieve results and drive efficiencies in daily work.
  • Work collaboratively with others to build effective working relationships within the department and company.
  • Lift materials up to 50 pounds and perform tasks that require manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Understand and follow established personal safety, security, and environmental practices, including WHMIS and OSHA regulations.
