Job Summary

As a Food Service Worker with Compass Group Canada, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our clients. Your primary responsibility will be to prepare, present, and serve meals, ensuring the highest quality of food and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform food preparation tasks such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables.
  • Transport food and equipment to and from workstations, stoves, and refrigerators, adhering to safety standards.
  • Store food in designated areas, following proper wrapping, dating, food safety, and rotation procedures.
  • Set up items for purchase on a daily basis.
  • Conduct general cleaning duties, removing trash and garbage to designated areas.
  • Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment.
  • Utilize approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures, and standard portion control.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, following outlined steps of service.
  • Resolve customer concerns and relay relevant information to supervisors.
  • Ensure compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements.
Requirements:
  • Familiarity with food safety protocols and procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Previous food service experience is an asset.
  • Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
