This role encompasses developing risk decision models for personal financing products and guiding team members on decision-making strategies.
Your responsibilities will include:
- SUPPORTING and coaching two senior data scientists in model development and ensuring the smooth progression of activities
- COMMUNICATING model results and the progress of initiatives in various committees
- ORGANIZING and leading discussions with business line and risk management partners for model approval
- ACTING as a subject matter expert on certain strategic initiatives
- OVERSEEING the deployment of models in decision engines, alongside the team and partners
- ENSURING post-production follow-up of developed models
- ADVANCING expertise and maturity of strategies by exploring new data sources or new modeling techniques like artificial intelligence
- COLLABORATING with other team leads to define the department's vision and plan business strategies
As a member of our dynamic team of advanced analytics specialists, you will contribute to all modeling and risk strategies for credit cards, personal financing, and SMEs. You'll report to the Senior Director of Models and Risk Strategies.

Requirements include:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field, 3-5 years of experience in modeling, decision strategies, or other relevant data science roles
- Experience in a coaching and influencing role
- Proficiency in statistical/econometric models and machine learning
- Expertise in statistical programming tools like SAS/SQL (R or Python)
- Knowledge of personal credit products and risk management
Language Fluency: We require English proficiency to discuss frequently with service providers or partners who speak a language other than French.
