Pediatric Psychiatrist

Job Opportunity:

Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a skilled Child Psychiatrist to join our team at the Richmond School Program.

We are committed to providing high-quality care to children and families in our community. As a Child Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for assessing and treating children with complex mental health needs.

About the Role:

• You will have a strong knowledge base in medication management and psychotherapeutic modalities.
• You will be involved in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of new programs and participate in the training and education of medical students, residents, and other allied health professionals.
• You will collaborate with other community service providers, such as teachers and school counsellors.

Requirements:

• You must hold a current College of Physicians of BC (CPSBC) License - Full.
• You must have a good knowledge of child relational/developmental/psychotherapeutic theory and practice.
• You must be able to work effectively in a team environment.

Compensation:

The estimated salary range for this position is $200,000 - $300,000 per year, depending on experience.
