At Mastronardi Produce, we are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Inspector to join our team in Surrey, BC. As a Quality Control Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet customer specifications and adhering to our PRIDE values (Passion, Respect, Innovation, Drive, Excellence).

The successful candidate will have a strong background in quality control and assurance, with experience in a related field. You will be responsible for inspecting products, identifying defects, and implementing corrective actions to ensure that our products meet the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect products to ensure they meet customer specifications
  • Identify defects and implement corrective actions
  • Work closely with the Warehouse Manager to ensure that all products are properly labeled and stored
  • Assist with quality control audits and inspections
  • Provide training to other team members on quality control procedures

Requirements:

  • 1 year college degree or 6 months of experience in a related field
  • Previous experience in the produce industry is an asset
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in MS Office and computer skills

Working Conditions:

  • Work in a refrigerated warehouse environment with temperatures ranging from 45-55 degrees
  • Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs
