At CANADA INC., we are seeking a highly skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team. This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary of $65,000 - $80,000 per year.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a concrete finisher who is passionate about delivering high-quality results and exceeding customer expectations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all concrete surfaces are finished to the highest standards, meeting the needs of our clients.

Responsibilities
  • Filling Hollows and Removing Spots: You will be responsible for filling hollows and removing spots on freshly poured cement using specialized equipment and techniques.
  • Compacting Concrete: You will operate power vibrators to compact concrete, ensuring it meets the required density and quality standards.
  • Leveling Top Surface Concrete: You will level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specifications, requiring attention to detail and precision.
  • Applying Finishing Techniques: You will use hand and power tools to impart the desired finish to concrete surfaces, including polishing, texturing, and smoothing.
  • Hardening and Sealing: You will apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces, protecting them from damage and extending their lifespan.
  • Repair and Maintenance: You will repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures, ensuring they remain safe and functional.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in concrete finishing.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in concrete finishing techniques and safety procedures.
  • Excellent physical stamina and ability to work in physically demanding environments.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A valid education and certification in a relevant field (e.g., construction management, engineering).
