Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sustainability Manager to join our team at Plasman Global Headquarters. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing sustainability, social/safety, and governance programs across North America.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead North America's ESG data collection and report outs, including CDP, EcoVadis, SAQs, etc.
  • Manage cross-functional sustainability programs across a wide range of topics including scope 1, 2, and 3, waste reduction, reporting compliance, and more.
  • Secure compliance with regulations and standards within the area, monitor upcoming standards and regulations.
  • Manage external sustainability requirements, (customer-specific and standardized).
  • Lead Plasman's ambition of CO2 neutral by 2028 across North America by working with leadership at sites to design actionable goals, improvement areas, sustainability projects, etc.
  • Manage projects including coordinating communications with external organizations, reviewing project updates, and updating relevant supporting materials.
  • Monthly data mining and output developed for all GHG inputs from our 10 North American operations. This includes energy consumption, generation, and offsets for climate neutral objectives. Lead quarterly KPI presentations and hold plants accountable for their action plans to meet ESG KPIs.
  • Scope 3 GHG calculations globally, supporting the OEM/ISO requirement for all Transportation and supply chain downstream GHG emissions for Tier 2, 3, and 4.
  • Collaborate on communication efforts: preparation of quarterly reports, data analysis, summaries, presentations, benchmarking, coordinate updates to website.
Requirements
  • A degree in a relevant field of study (Sustainability, Environment).
  • 5+ years of progressive experience leading and executing corporate sustainability initiatives within a manufacturing sector.
  • Excellent analytical and project management skills.
  • Excellent people leadership skills, both with direct reports and with peers and indirect reports.
  • Outstanding ability to influence others.
  • Results oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Outstanding written communication and presentation skills.
