About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Software Test Infrastructure Developer to join our team at NXP Semiconductors. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing control software for globally deployed test equipment, as well as developing scalable infrastructure to reliably build and run automotive test applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop control software for globally deployed test equipment
- Develop scalable infrastructure to reliably build and run automotive test applications
- Continuously improve existing test infrastructure to support new product requirements
- Work with systems teams, field and customer engineers to understand current industry trends and customer needs
Requirements
- Good knowledge of Python scripting language and object-oriented programming
- Interest in network protocols including UDP, TCP/IP, SSH, HTTPS. Experience with socket programming in Python is a plus.
- Experience with programming for both Windows and Linux operating systems
- Experience with virtualization (Proxmox) and containerization (Docker) platforms
- Willingness to learn additional automotive communication protocols, microcontroller architectures, and real-time operating systems
- English language proficiency
