Job Opportunity:

The University of Toronto Mississauga invites applications for a full-time teaching stream appointment in the field of Computer Science. The appointment will be at the rank of Assistant Professor, Teaching Stream, with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2025.

About the Position:

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified individual to join the University of Toronto Mississauga as a teaching stream professor in the Department of Math/Comp. Sciences. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students, as well as contributing to the development of the department's curriculum.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be expected to:

  • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Computer Science
  • Develop and maintain a research program in Computer Science
  • Contribute to the department's curriculum development and review
  • Mentor and advise students
  • Participate in departmental and university service

Requirements:

The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field, and will have a strong teaching and research record. The candidate will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and will be able to work effectively in a team environment.
