Job Title: Camera Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Camera Systems Engineer to join our team in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. As a key member of our autonomous vehicle technology team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing camera systems for our self-driving vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the integration of new and existing self-driving software and hardware onto vehicles and test benches.
  • Assist with troubleshooting of component and system integration issues, guiding the team to an efficient resolution.
  • Develop and execute test plans, performing camera/sensor laboratory evaluation of components and product updates prior to deployment to extended testing groups.
  • Collaborate closely with architecture engineering teams to ensure the design process is aligned with the system/hardware and software architecture.
  • Responsible for triage road failures, using triage results to understand and document test gaps. Drive and support root cause analysis.
  • Support tracking and reporting testing Key Performance Measures (KPIs) on a regular basis.
  • Exhaustively document best practices.
  • Ensure security, performance, manageability, quality, and consistency of the product requirement specification across systems and provide technical guidance to development teams.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering or related technical field plus demonstrates competences and technical proficiencies typically acquired through 3-5+ years of experience or;
  • Master's Degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering or related technical field plus demonstrates competences and technical proficiencies typically acquired through 1-3+ years of experience.
