Accounting Manager Consultant

Our client is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager Consultant to join their construction team in Calgary. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and financial management, with experience in Sage 300 and a CPA designation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure full-cycle accounting is completed on a monthly basis
- Maintain capital asset records
- Train and develop 4 direct reports
- Provide insightful management reports and make improvements
- Manage treasury, including multiple bank accounts
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Approve outgoing cash
- Review semi-monthly payroll
- Ensure CRA filings are accurate and up-to-date
- Assist with WCB filing
- Review OH expenses
- Ensure accurate billable rates are flowing into Job Costs
- Perform ad-hoc analysis and tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree and CPA designation
- Experience with Sage 300 is considered an asset
- Team player with effective communication skills
