Job Title: Electronics Intern

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Electronics Intern to join our team at Ansys. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects and contribute to the development of our simulation software.

Responsibilities:
  • Create and test optical models for benchmarking both improvements to existing software functionality and new software capabilities.
  • Analyze software functionality using Zemax OpticStudio Application Programming Interface (ZOS-API) using C++/C#, Python, or MATLAB.
  • Identify improvements to the functionality and performance of Zemax OpticStudio through active use of the software application.
  • Work under the general supervision of a development lead or manager.
Requirements:
  • Pursuing a MS or PHD in Optical Engineering, Optical sciences, Physics, or related fields, with a focus on optics.
  • Passion for optics and optical design research and development.
  • Programming experience with C++, Python, or similar programming languages.
  • Experience using Zemax OpticStudio or similar optical design software.
  • Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English.
