Math and Science Teacher/Tutor Wanted

We are seeking a motivated and passionate Math and Science teacher/tutor to join our team at Oxford Learning Centres, Inc. As an Interactive Coach, you will work directly with students to help them develop their skills in math and science.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach math and science to students at a Grade 9 to 12 level
  • Guide students' understanding of complex math and science concepts
  • Work with students in a one-on-one setting to help them overcome academic hurdles
  • Fill in post-lesson notes and complete daily student communication updates
  • Maintain a friendly and professional manner at all times
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or similar certification in a relevant field
  • Fourth year university students with extensive tutoring experience will be considered
  • Teaching certification an asset
  • Good knowledge of the current Grades 9-12 math and science curriculum
