Cleaning Professional

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team at Earthcon Cleaning Services Ltd.
Job Summary:The Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our clients by performing various cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities:- Sweep, mop, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Dust furniture and fixtures to ensure a clean and dust-free environment
- Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture to maintain a clean and tidy environment
- Make beds and change sheets to ensure a clean and comfortable environment
- Distribute clean towels and toiletries to clients
- Clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances to maintain a clean and hygienic environment
- Handle and report lost and found items to ensure a smooth and efficient operation
- Pick up debris and empty trash containers to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Launder clothing and household linens to ensure a clean and hygienic environment
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties as required to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Wash windows, walls, and ceilings to maintain a clean and tidy environment
The Cleaner will work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The ideal candidate will be able to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and work in a team environment.
Requirements:- Will train
- Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees
- Supports social and labour market integration of newcomers and/or refugees (for example: facilitating access to community resources, language training, skills training, etc.)
- Recruits newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster (for example: Ukraine, Afghanistan, etc.)
- Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition
- Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports youth employment
- Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth
- Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth
- Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people
- Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers
- Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports mature workers
- Provides staff with awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for mature workers
- Permanent employment
- English as the primary language of work
- 40 hours per week
