Clinical Supervisor

Job Summary: The Sioux Lookout Meno Ya WIn Health Centre is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Supervisor to provide clinical supervision to Mental Health and Addictions Program staff. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing client treatment plans, providing coaching and debriefing, and utilizing evidence-based best practices to guide counsellors in developing and implementing therapeutic treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical supervision to Mental Health and Addictions Program staff
- Review client treatment plans and provide coaching and debriefing
- Utilize evidence-based best practices to guide counsellors in developing and implementing therapeutic treatment plans
- Provide one-on-one, family, and group psychotherapy to complex clients
- Perform clinical duties requiring a level of expertise not available within the department
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Social Work, Psychology, or other Behavioral Sciences from a recognized program
- Minimum of three years' experience working in a mental health and addictions setting, including two years administrative/supervisory experience
- Must have an understanding of predominant approaches to counseling, group therapy, and crisis intervention
- Demonstrated ability to deliver a psychosocial assessment and write a treatment plan
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
